This group gives our members good opportunities to demonstrate the creative and organisational skills they have acquired over the years. They are involved in organising special events such as:
- Darlington Community Carnival
- GOLD Positive Health Days
- GOLD Anniversary Celebrations
- Consultation events
- Coffee mornings and awareness raising sessions
- and of course, the GOLD Christmas Party which is a firm favourite amongst our members!
Our group meetings are always fun, lively and informative, with everyone sharing their views and concerns.

The Appreciating Age group meets on the first Wednesday of every month at Havelock Street, from 10.30am until 12.30pm.
