The second GOLD Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Wednesday 21st April 2010 at the Dolphin Centre. Come at 5.30pm for a light buffet and time to look round information stalls, before the meeting which begins at 6.00pm and will finish at 7.00pm.
There are 12 Members of the GOLD Focus Group and people are invited to nominate others to stand. There will be an election on 21st April if there are more than 12 people nominated to be members of the group until the AGM in 2011. This group meet bi-monthly and people take part in task and finish gorups, projects, events and training as well as spreading the good news about GOLD's work. If you nominate someone please check first that they are happy for you to do so. You can make more than one nomination. Forms can be emailed to us at Gold@darlington.gov.uk.

The Health Group will meet on Monday, 11th May 2010, at Havelock Street Community Centre, off North Road at 10.15am
Issues which will be discussed include: Mental Health, Physiotherapy and Dignity in Care. The talk will be about Rheumatology.
On Wednesday, 7th April 2010 the Promoting Positive Images and Publicity Group will meet at Havelock Street Community Centre at 10.30am
The group will be discussing future publicity and marketing and planning future events.
